It’s the beginning of the FW season 2011 and most brands have their Ad campaigns for the season out. These ads give an insight into the collection for that season, they help to tell the brands version of the story with regards to the collection for that season.

Gucci takes on a cinematic theme, showcasing the plight of the movie star. Love the strong red lips, very retro Hollywood glam.

Donna Karan’s campaign focused on the principal that a powerful woman could wear Donna Karan every day. This is one of my favourite, simple and elegant. Makes you want to acquire everything DKNY, also very Chanel ish.

The women campaign looked alluring and very dramatic while the men look a wee bit severe, in all glamorous.
DOLCE & GABBANA
Dolce & Gabbana's did the "boys vs girls" look. these look make me wanna do a masculine themed shoot, classic.

This season’s campaign seems to be creating structure against softness, the ads places sculpted shrubs against soft cashmere sweater.

Graceful, reflective, playful and yet sexy, love this ad .

MIU MIU
